  • 1-day “Cellular Gene-ius” class to 5th-6th graders. Topics covered: DNA, Mendelian genetics, cells

  • 2-day “Introduction to Microbiology” course to 8th through 11th graders. Activities: Disinfection Lab (sterile vs. non-sterile surface sampling), Environmental Lab (water and soil sampling), microscopy, and cheek-swab DNA extraction
